Santa and Christmas Carvings

My very first santa -- found out that I needed to learn a lot more about carving faces and "rounding".

My second santa -- improved the rounding of the figure, but the face still needs a lot of work.

My third santa -- I carved this in a class and was assisted by an instructor (Russ Scott).

I made this Santa for my daughter. I chose this particular santa because of its size -- I wanted to try my hand with a bigger project. This was started in a class (Jon Nelson) and finished at home.

This jolly Santa was made for fun -- now in the posission of my daughter.

This Santa can sit on a mantel or shelf -- now in the posission of my daughter. He was instructor assisted (Gary Falin).

A Christmas ornament made for my cousin Bob and his wife Sharon.

A double-sided Christmas ornament made for my daugher..

A couple of sled ornaments made for my daugher..

A soldier ornament made for my daugher..

A "crayon" Santa ornament made for my daugher..
